From milepost 3 to milepost 3
A private development is being constructed at the intersection of SR 503 and NE 119th Avenue. Through this project, crews will install a turn lane on southbound SR 503 to NE 119th Avenue, new curbing, pavement markings and complete signal replacement operations at this location. ADA facilities will also be updated during this work. Most of this work will occur on the west side of NE 119th Avenue. WSDOT reduced the speed limit on SR 503 by extending the 40 mph posted speed limit an additional 500 feet north of NE 119th Avenue (milepost 2.81) to accommodate the expansion of the commercial district along the highway.
